Katie is a vibrant and compassionate individual, a example of warmth and empathy in her community. She radiates a sense of purpose and dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of those around her. As a married gay woman to Jen, she embodies love and acceptance, serving as an inspiration for others to embrace their true selves.

With their 8-year-old daughter Rori, Katie and Jen foster an environment of love, understanding, and inclusivity within their family. They instill in Rori the values of compassion and empathy, nurturing her to become a caring and open-minded individual.

Katie's passion for community shines through in her tireless efforts to give back, particularly to the homeless. She actively seeks out opportunities to support and uplift those in need, whether it's through volunteering at shelters, organizing donation drives, or simply lending a listening ear to those experiencing hardship.

One of Katie's most significant contributions to her community is her role in organizing the first pride event. With unwavering dedication and enthusiasm, she works tirelessly to ensure that the event is inclusive, celebratory, and representative of the diverse LGBTQ+ community. Through her leadership, she fosters a sense of unity and solidarity, empowering individuals to embrace their identities and stand proud.
